One of the reasons I love shooting Boudoir so much is because of how creative I can get with my sessions. The creative touch gets all the way down to the makeup and of course the style too. Every session is so unique because it really depends on how comfortable someone is wearing something and what their taste is. As a creative photographer I need to have tons of styles and options to work with. I hope you're ready to jump into some of the top used styles I tend to pick when shooting, from classic to modern and modest to sultry!
The silk robe: effortless elegance
Stepping in front of the camera for the first time can feel a little intimidating, so my go-to advice is to start with a silky robe or an oversized button-up. These pieces provide a bit more coverage while also serving as a stylish prop to help you ease into your session with confidence. This always adds an elegant touch to your photos too!
Silky robes come in a variety of styles—sheer, flowy, satin, long/short or lace styles—and you can find them almost anywhere that sells clothing! Teddy: boudoir must have
No.. not a teddy bear silly... Think of a bodysuit but made out of lace. This type of lingerie is a full body, form-fitting piece that hugs the body in all the right places. Every single body type can pull off a teddy, it beautifully accentuates all your curves. My favorite thing about a Teddy is you can really dress them up with so many different accessories to give different vibes. For example you might want to dress up your outfit with longer gloves, thigh highs, pearl earrings & necklace for a more elegant look. You can make your teddy both sultry and sophisticated!
Babydoll: flirty, flowing & fab
If you're wanting to feel like the most feminine version of yourself, I highly reccomend going for the babydoll. Often this fitted yet flattering padded bra has a short, flowy skirt underneath offering just the right amount of coverage while leaving plenty to the imagination. These are typically designed with sheer fabrics like lace, mesh or chiffon. Pairing this with a thong, lace panties and thigh-highs would offer the perfect balance of sweet yet seductive! When I did my first Boudoir session I modeled using my black lace push up bra, panties and a black leather jacket. It gave such a gorgeous, fierce, rebellious vibe. It was the perfect prop for me to use while I was warming up to the camera, getting comfortable too and it made the look!!

Must have in your wardrobe! This is one of my favorite outfits to have for sessions. The body con skirt will hug all your beautiful curves and the strappy top/bralette will enhance and bring focus to your chest creating a perfect composition of art... naturally you! Bralettes can get very strappy, lacy, simple even geometric. Try them on and see what suits your style best! You can find your cutest heels, wedges or go barefoot and wear foot jewelry.. it's all in the little details.

Oversized sweaters, Knee high socks or full length tights paired with rings and a simple choker necklace...obsessed! Especially if you want to keep your style slightly more covered or modest you'll feel so comfortable in this.
